Suggested Routes:
Lake Eyasi (1 stop) - A light breakfast or evening snack is served before departing Mwiba and flying out over the Eyasi escarpment. With dramatically stunning views of the lake and escarpment, the pilot cruises at a low altitude over Lake Eyasi. Birdlife is abundant all year round with extensive birding on the lake from November to December, including pelicans and flamingos. The pilot then lands on the highest point of the escarpment for brunch or sundowner.
Southern Serengeti (2 stops) - Depending on time of departure, a light breakfast or lunch is served before departing Mwiba and flying over the Southern Serengeti region. Guests will experience a safari from the sky as they search for wildlife and soak in the vast landscapes. Stop off for a hot cup of coffee atop beautiful kopjes. With dramatically stunning views of the lake and escarpment, the pilot cruises east at a low altitude over Lake Eyasi. Birdlife is abundant all year round with extensive birding on the lake from November to December, including pelicans and flamingos. The pilot then lands up on the highest point of the escarpment for brunch or sundowner.
Great Rift Valley (3 stops) - A light breakfast or snack is served before departing Mwiba and flying through the Great Rift Valley on an incredible journey with brunch and coffee stops along the way. Fly over Lake Natron to see the flamingos, Lengai (an active volcano), and waterfalls with swimming pools before flying past the famous Ngorongoro Crater and Embakai Crater. Upon return for a late lunch, the pilot will fly down towards Lake Eyasi where guests can marvel at the shimmering water and striking escarpment. This trip is broken into journeys of 30-40 minute flights. We allow short breaks to soak in the view and provide a few longer stops for brunch and coffee / drinks.
